The principal, John Western, started his career as an Air Crew Officer in the Royal Air Force. The foundation of his management skills, questioning techniques and coaching came about then.
Apart from the prescribed formal training, he was fortunate to have secondments as a Supernumerary Officer with the Personnel Selection Training School and as an Assistant Families Officer. The insight gained has proved very valuable.
His subsequent successful career in sales and management depended upon communication, team building and leadership. Informal coaching has been one very valuable attribute in this success.
This has led him to train with The Coaching Academy in order to become a professional coach and make it his career.
